February 9, 2023: Charlotte Biltekoff: Imagining and Innovating for the Future of Food: What Role Should the Public Play?

Culinary Mind e Andrea Borghini presentano Quarter-Baked Forum. Online Colloquia Series. Zoom Meeting with Charlotte Biltekoff (University of California, Davis) . H. 6 PM CEST. The goal of this series is to try new projects, ideas, or open problems that promise to advance research in philosophy and food. The forums will not be recorded and this informal setting aims at facilitating conversation, brainstorming, and networking. Each talk features one speaker and is divided as follows: 5/10 minutes presentation of the problem and 30/40 minutes discussion.

Excellence Department Award 2023-2027

The Department of Philosophy "Pietro Martinetti" has been awarded, for the second time, an Excellence Grant by the Ministry of Education, Research and University for the period 2023-2027.

September 2022 - June 2023: Dean Moyar, Johns Hopkins University

Visiting Professors Program 2022-2023. Dean Moyar is Professor of Philosophy & Director of Graduate Studies at at Johns Hopkins University. Research areas: German Idealism, social and political philosophy, practical reason, philosophy and literature, and the history of 19th Century thought.
