Contra-classical logics are logics that, under the same language as that of classical logic, validate classically invalid arguments. In this talk, I critically discuss `the Bochum Plan', a model-theoretic approach to give a un ed semantics for a bunch of already-known contra-classical logics, but that it is also a handy tool for generating new ones. The gist of the talk is that the mechanisms underlying the Bochum Plan show that one cannot get a satisfactory picture of contra-classical logics from existing theories about the meaning of logical connectives.
